Pre-Fall 2011 Collection in Honeysuckle

I was waiting to see Pre-Fall 2011 Collections. Through the Style.com you can check pre-fall collections of fashion houses. I am keep looking for Honeysuckle when I am checking collections, and there were some Honeysuckle garments definitely. It is hard to find the entire collection in Honeysuckle, but most of fashion brands has at least one outfit in Honeysuckle.

I was researching current color trend, and I found a color forecast on Pantone website(www.pantone.com). Pantone names the color as Honeysuckle.

On Pantone website, “In times of stress, we need something to lift our spirits. Honeysuckle is a captivating, stimulating color that gets the adrenaline going – perfect to ward off the blues,” explains Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. “Honeysuckle derives its positive qualities from a powerful bond to its mother color red, the most physical, viscerally alive hue in the spectrum.”

I prefer blue personally, but Honeysuckle derives confident, vital, and courageous. You can find similar colors in 2011 S/S Collection of many fashion house.

I made those two knitted tops at last October. I got this knit fabric from a store in Ruidoso(NM), and I fell in love with this fabric when I found it from the dusty shelf. It is 100% wool. It was a kind of tube type fabric, so I don’t have any actual seams on them.

The first picture is front of woman’s top. There are two armholes that you can use also as a belt loops.

The second picture is back of man’s top. This is sleeveless top, and it has cowl neck on front.

Both of two garments are hand sewing. The actual color of knit is similar with the second picture.

I found this one on Fashion Incubator. Edith texted me to let me know that amazing pattern making.

It looks so complicated when you see the finished one, but actually it is simple and easy pattern making I think.

In segmentation by age, 18~20 is 6%, 21~23 is 33%, 24~26 is 34%, 27~29 is 18%, and over 30 is 9%.

In customer’s status, Middle-aged Adults are 65%, College students are 30%, Hight school Athletes are 2%, and Parents are 3%.

Monthly net income of JY’s target customer is over $4500. Between $4500~5500 is 66%, $5501~6500 is 24%, and over $6501 is 10%.
